3, step by pulse frequency speed regulation, low speed response is poor, easy to block.

4. Big noise.

5, step can not do closed loop, know the position of each axis of the robot, each power on need to mark zero.

However, stepper motor also has advantages, cheap, if you do not need a reducer, that cost is lower. So the accuracy, load and noise are not high requirements of the occasion is very suitable.
